Routes and Stops
The Helsinki hop-on hop-off bus follows a route of 22 stops at the most important locations around the historic city centre of the Finnish capital.
From the open-top bus, you'll have prime views of the city's most iconic sites, such as Senate Square, Helsinki Cathedral, the Government Palace, the University of Helsinki's main building and the National Library of Finland. Your bus pass will also give you different discounts on various attractions around Helsinki.
Our bus will also take you to the flea market, where you can hop off and buy some souvenirs, and to the Market Square in the South Harbour. Here, you can sample some of Helsinki's delicious local gastronomy.
As you cruise around the city, you'll ride past the Swedish Theatre, the Rock Church, the Sibelius Monument, and many more important spots in the city. On the bus, you'll also have an audio guide in English and other languages available so you can learn more about the history of the monuments you'll see throughout the route.
How Does it Work?
When you board the bus on Stop 1, located at Unioninkatu 31, your ticket will be activated. From this moment, you'll have 24 consecutive hours to hop on and off the bus as many times as you want. You can find the stops and routes here.
Bus Schedule
The Helsinki hop-on hop-off has the following schedule:
- Up to April 26, 2025: the bus runs on Friday and Saturday; it sets off from Stop 1 at 10:40 am and 1 pm. During Easter, there will be extra departures on Sunday 20 and Monday 21 of April.
- From May 2, 2025, until the end of September: the bus runs daily from Stop 1 from 10 am to 4 pm, with a frequency of 30 to 40 minutes.
Sightseeing Boat Tour
If you wish, you can get a combined ticket that includes 24 hours both for the hop-on hop-off bus and a sightseeing boat in Helsinki.
