We'll meet at the pickup point of your choice at the indicated time and head to the Mauna Kea volcano. Ready for a special stargazing sleepover?
After hopping in our 4x4, we'll set off on an exciting journey to the summit of Mauna Kea, the highest point in the state of Hawaii. On the way, we'll enjoy a snack and a warm drink as we take in incredible views.
Once we're at the top of the crater, we'll enjoy one of the most awe-inspiring views in the world: the sunset from the Mauna Kea volcano. Unforgettable! But the evening has only just begun... We'll choose a quiet area and use a laser pointer to teach you about the different constellations and planets on this starry night.
We'll be using a professional telescope to gaze at the heavens during this starry sleepover, you'll feel like you're on cloud nine! After all that, it's time to take a photo or two with a DSLR camera, either on your own or in pairs. Doesn't that sound like the perfect souvenir?
Our stunning stargazing activity will come to an end after six to seven hours.
Timetable and pickup points
When you make your reservation, you can choose a specific time and place to kick off this stunning stargazing activity:
- Bank Of Hawaii: from October to February, at 2:20 pm. March, August and September, at 2:50 pm. From April to July, at 3:20 pm.
- Waikoloa Beach Drive Starbucks: from October to February, at 3 pm. March, August and September, at 3:30 pm. From Abril to July, at 4 pm.
- Grand Naniloa Hotel Hilo: from October to February, at 3 pm. March, August and September, at 3:30 pm. From April to July, at 4 pm.
