Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park Tour
Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park Tour
At 8:15 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Hilo and set off on our tour of the Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park.
We'll head into this vast territory to see Hawaii's most spectacular volcanoes, such as Halema'uma'u, which continues to grow. Next, we'll head to the Kilauea Visitor Centre to learn about the most active volcano on the island. From there, we'll see the geysers and head up to the Kilauea Iki Viewpoint.
Afterwards, we'll take a sightseeing tour of the Crater Caldera, where we'll see how parts of it are covered with lava from Kilauea's 2018 eruption. The next stop will be at the Kealakomo Viewpoint, which boasts spectacular views of the coastline and lava fields.
Our tour will then take us along a paved trail, where we'll see more of the effects of Kilauea's different eruptions, before we come to Rainbow Falls and Akaka Falls. When we get to these beautiful waterfalls in the middle of the rainforest, we'll pause and have a picnic lunch.
To round off the tour, we'll visit the town of Hilo and explore the black sand Richardson Beach as well as Lilioukalani Gardens.
It'll then be time to drive you back to the hotel and drop you off at around 7 pm.
