Varadero Day Trip

On the day of the activity, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Havana between 7:30 am and 8 am and head east towards Varadero.

After an hour's drive, we'll reach the Bacunayagua Bridge viewpoint, where we'll stop at a cafeteria to enjoy a piña colada tasting while admiring the views of this impressive construction.

We'll then return to the vehicle and drive for another 40 minutes to Saturno Cave. We'll spend an hour exploring the beautiful rock formations here and enjoying a refreshing dip in the turquoise waters of its natural pool.

Continuing onwards, we'll arrive at Varadero Beach at 11:30 am. You'll then have five hours of free time to spend as you wish: relaxing and sunbathing on the soft white sands and swimming in the sparkling waters of the Caribbean Sea.

At 5 pm, we'll take you back to your accommodation in Havana. The return trip will take two hours.

Aurora was a great guide and we had a wonderful day. The swimming in the cave was superb. It’s warmer than you think. The driver looked after our every need especially keeping the mini Bus nice and cool. Varadero is a great venue to visit. We bought coffees for 35Cup and mojitos for 200 Cup each. An experience not to be missed. Thank you Civitatis.

A fun trip to go on! I had an amazing tour guide, who was very knowledgeable and gave me an incredible insight into the daily lives of Cuban people. The lookout bridge and pina colada was a special way to see Cuban infrastructure, and the drink was absolutely delicious! A trip to the saturno cave was eye-opening, plus I got to experience a rare sighting of Cuba’s national bird. The beautiful Varadero beach speaks for itself. Thank you guys for an unforgettable day, all the best to you!

Pretty nice day relaxing on the beach in Varadero. The 2 activities before arriving to the beach were a bit lackluster when compared to the Viñales trip we did a few days earlier. One big issue was that the voucher stated that pick-up was at 07.30 and we should be ready 15 mins before that. We had to adhere to that although somewere else it said that Old Havana pick-ups were around 08.00. In the event, we got picked up at 08.35 after waiting since 07.15. Not happy about that at all !

Recomendamos comer en el centro comercial de Varadero que tiene precios super baratos y buenísima calidad, ya que hay muchos restaurantes por la zona de camino que están subidisimos de precio como para ir a la aventura. The excursion has been great. The beach is beautiful and our guide, Orlando, was lovely, he explained interesting things to us throughout the trip and was super friendly. We recommend eating in the Varadero shopping center, which has super cheap prices and great quality, since there are many restaurants in the area along the way that are too high in price to go on an adventure.
