Trinidad & Cienfuegos 2 Day Tour
Day 1: Havana – Trinidad
After picking you up from your hotel in Havana at 7:30 am, we'll board a comfortable minibus that will take us to Trinidad, one of the most important and best preserved colonial towns in the Americas.
On the way, we'll make a stop at the Zapata Swamp to visit the crocodile farm. We'll then return to the road for the next stop of the day, in Playa Girón. Here we'll visit the Cueva de los Peces, an impressive natural pool full of tropical fish and surrounded by wild natural landscapes. We'll also visit the Museum of the Bay of Pigs Invasion where we'll see an exhibition of the weapons used in that battle.
We'll then make a stop so that you can get some lunch at a restaurant in Playa Girón. After the break, we'll return to the minibus and travel to Trinidad, where we will stay in the home of a local family.
Day 2: Trinidad – Cienfuegos – Havana
We'll start the day with a hearty breakfast at our homestay, and then at 8 am, we'll set out to explore Trinidad.
Accompanied by an expert guide on the history of the city, we'll spend three hours exploring the cobbled streets and the most emblematic colonial buildings, including the Church of San Francisco de Paula, the Church of San Francisco de Asís and Plaza Mayor.
At 11 am we'll return to the house before meeting up again at 12 noon to get back on the bus. Before returning to Havana, we'll travel to Cienfuegos. We'll take a three-hour guided tour and discover the unique architectural style of the buildings, palaces, and great promenades of the city.
Finally, we'll return to the minibus that will take us back to Havana after a three-hour drive. Our estimated time of arrival in the capital is 7 pm.
