At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Havana and then head southwest to begin this excursion to Soroa Waterfall. Are you ready to explore the jungle of Cuba? Let's go!
Did you know that Soroa's landscape has been declared a Biosphere Reserve? As soon as we arrive, we'll start walking through the lush vegetation of the jungle where the "Arcoíris de Cuba" (Rainbow of Cuba) is located.
Finally, we'll reach the Soroa Waterfall, which belongs to the Sierra del Rosario and stands out for being one of the tallest waterfalls in the country with a height of 72 ft (22 meters)! There, we'll make a stop to rest and enjoy the views.
Along the hiking route, we'll also see the old coffee plantations that make up one of the most beautiful natural enclaves in western Cuba!
We'll then continue until we reach the Castillo de las Nubes, the only hotel in the area. Its viewpoint is the ideal place to get one of the best panoramic views of the Sierra del Rosario – you'll be amazed!
Finally, we'll finish the excursion to Soroa Waterfall by dropping you back off at your accommodation 5 hours later.
