Having been picked up from the Hotel Inglaterra you'll be taken to the Puerto de la Luz, the port where the Lanchita de Regla ferry will be waiting for you. Join locals in climbing aboard for the speedy 10-minute journey across the harbour to the town of Regla.
Just a two-minute walk from the dock, you'll find the famous Nuestra Señora de Regla Church. It may have a modest exterior, but the church has an important history: it's dedicated to the Virgin of Regla, who is represented by a black Madonna and venerated in both the Catholic faith and in the Yoruba religion known as Santería in Cuba. Around the church, we'll see many santera women who can read palms and carry out good luck rituals.
Then we'll hop in a classic 1950s car and head to the Christ of Havana. From the hilltop where it's located, we'll enjoy extraordinary views of the bay.
At the end of your tour of Regla, we'll take you back to your original departure point after a total of 4.5 to 5.5 hours.
