On this complete tour of Havana, we'll explore the streets of the Cuban capital and discover how two of the country's typical products are made: tobacco and rum.
Havana Complete Tour
At 8 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Havana to start this complete tour of the capital of Cuba.
First, we'll head to Vedado, one of the most famous neighborhoods of the Cuban capital. There, we'll see the University of Havana and visit Hamel's Alley, where we'll find the work of sculptor and muralist Salvador Gonzalez that reflects the African origins of the Cuban population.
We'll continue to learn about the history of the city at the square of Plaza de la Revolución, a site where Fidel Castro gave numerous speeches. We'll also explore the 700-acre park of Gran Parque Metropolitano de la Habana, the green lung of this historic capital city.
Next, we'll visit the Partagás factory, where we'll learn about the tobacco manufacturing process. After this, we'll take you to a traditional restaurant in the city to enjoy a typical Cuban meal.
After lunch, we'll go to Old Havana to see the impressive Capitolio and, of course, the famous Bacardi building. Did you know that this brand of rum originated in Cuba?
Finally, we'll end the tour of Havana by returning to your hotel.
Temporary Changes
The Partagás factory is temporarily closed. Therefore, explanations about the tobacco tradition will be given outside this building and in a small cigar store nearby.
