Chocolate & Honey Tour of Havana
Tour Details
After meeting on Faco Rivera Street, we'll make our way to the venue where we'll be welcomed with a delicious drink made from Cuban chocolate. What a great way to begin this experience!
We'll start with a gratitude ceremony to the ancient cacao god. Get to know the mysticism that surrounds this ingredient!
Following this ceremony, we'll begin our tour with a recap of the history of Cuban cacao while observing the chocolate-making process. We'll discuss the entrepreneur Milton Snavely Hershey and his relationship with chocolate in the country while we try some cacao beans.
After enjoying the intensity of chocolate, we'll turn to the sweetness of honey. We'll witness how Rumbumba, a typical cocktail, is made using this precious ingredient, taken straight from the honeycomb. We'll then go to the bar to watch how a chocolate liqueur is made, which we'll try alongside a dulce de leche dessert. A real treat for your tastebuds!
Finally, to top off this tour, we'll gift you a bottle of pure cacao liqueur. What a great souvenir!
We'll then say goodbye at the end of this 2-hour tour.
