Discover the green lung of Havana on an immersive tour as we drive through the historic city in a classic car to Almendares Park!
Almendares Park Tour by Classic Car
On the day of your tour, make your way to the iconic Hotel Inglaterra, where a vintage car will be waiting for you. It wouldn't be a trip to Havana without a drive around the city in one of these classic 1950s vehicles! Your English-speaking guide will take you to the Parque Metropolitano, also known as Almendares Park. Did you know it's widely considered the "green lung" of Havana, with lush green spaces that extend along the Almendares River?
Arriving at the park, you'll explore the trails that cross through the park. Strolling through the dense tropical greenery will have you feeling like you've entered the jungle without leaving the city. Enjoy the fresh air and the beautiful natural landscapes of the urban forest - the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the Cuban capital.
Your tour will take you to visit the National Botanical Garden, where you'll have the opportunity to see both native and exotic trees, with more than 4000 plant species in total. One of the highlights of the botanical garden is the Japanese Garden, home to a beautiful waterfall, lake, and viewpoint.
You'll also visit Loma del Husillo Hill, the Bosque de la Habana, the Jardin de la Polar, and the Jardin de la Tropical. The latter, known as Tropical Gardens in English, was opened as a pleasure garden by the owner of the La Tropical Brewery and is now a venue for concerts and dance festivals.
At the end of your tour of Havana's parks and forests, your classic car will take you back to your original departure point in the city center, after a refreshing 5.5 hours.
