If you're cruising to Haugesund, this excursion to Langfoss waterfall is perfect for you. We'll visit one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the world – definitely a must-see!

Description

We'll be waiting for you at the tourist office in the cruise port of Haugesund, and there we'll start this excursion to the Langfoss waterfall.

On board a bus, we'll travel for an hour and a half through the spectacular landscapes of the Norwegian interior, admiring the breathtaking beauty of the high mountains and small waterfalls that we'll find along the way.

When you reach the Langfoss waterfall, located in the Åkra fjord, your jaw will drop due to the impressive 612 meters fall before you. Here, we'll spend about 45 minutes to take in this beautiful natural creation.

Next, we'll make a stop and leave you 30 minutes of free time to grab yourself some lunch if you wish. Once we've refueled, we'll head for Haugesund, but not before stopping at Haraldshaugen, a monument erected to honor the unification of the country.

After 5 hours of sightseeing, we'll end the cruise excursion back at the meeting point.

La excursión, fue mucho mejor de lo que nos esperábamos, ya que al contratarla nos indicaron que era solo en inglés, lo cual habíamos aceptado, pero el guía José que nos llamó para concertar el encuentro, nos indicó que debido a que en esa excursión había una cantidad importante de españoles, el vendría también.. La recomiendo encarecidamente. Fue en español y el guía José María fue majísimo. Incluso nos invitó a probar el queso marrón típico noruego. Superó mis expectativas porque nos llevaron por la antigua carretera del fiordo (más espectacular) y un pueblo interior con una iglesia antigua típica Translate this opinion into English.

I highly recommend it. It was in Spanish and the guide José María was wonderful. He even invited us to try the typical Norwegian brown cheese. The trip was outstanding from start to finish. The information was very informative which was given by Jamie. Entire trip was approx 5 hours. Our host Jamie was very knowledgeable and went nice and beyond. Even giving up her own water when I was feeling unwell. Jamie had a good sense a humour too. Really enjoyed the trip and would highly recommend. We Visited the waterfall, had time to take photos, went to have a panoramic viewing area and a stop off for lunch as am added bonus.

Our guide, Alina, gave a very informative narrative during the coach trip, which was very useful to learn about the areas we passed and the local history. The scenery on the way to Langfoss Waterfall was beautiful, as was the waterfall itself. We highly recommend this excursion.
