Ninh Binh Day Trip: Hoa Lu, Mua Cave & Van Long Natural Reserve
Ninh Binh Day Trip
At the designated time, we’ll pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi and head to Ninh Binh province, about two hours away by bus.
Our adventure begins in Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of the Vietnamese Empire. Here, we’ll explore the temples dedicated to the Dinh and Le dynasties. The restored entrance to the imperial city, shaped by centuries of natural erosion, is sure to amaze you!
Next, we’ll visit the famous Dance Cave, often called the “Princess of Ninh Binh.” After climbing nearly 500 steps, we’ll be rewarded with breathtaking views of Tam Coc's hills and valleys. It’s the perfect spot for photos!
Following our climb, we’ll enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, savoring traditional dishes from the region.
After lunch, we’ll hop on bikes and cycle to the Bich Dong Pagoda, a serene complex of three temples harmoniously set amidst the mountains and lush greenery of Tam Coc.
To wrap up our Ninh Binh adventure, we’ll take a boat ride through the Van Long Nature Reserve. With luck, we might catch a glimpse of the rare Delacour's Langur, an endangered and adorable primate.
After an incredible 11-hour experience, we’ll return to Hanoi and drop you off at your hotel.
