Guided Tour of Hanoi
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Hoan Kiem at 8 am on the day of your tour, and from there make our way to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and its museum, where we'll learn about the life of the founder of the old Democratic Republic of Vietnam, and one of the most important historical figures in the country.
Having visited the tomb of 'Uncle Ho' as he was popularly known in Vietnam, we'll head to the One Pillar Pagoda, known since its construction in the 11th century for its unique beauty. Later, we'll continue our guided tour, taking in the Tran Quoc Buddhist pagoda, one of the oldest in the country.
After visiting the pagoda, we'll make a brief stop at a local restaurant to renew our energy with a delicious lunch. Have you ever tried pho? This traditional Vietnamese soup is truly mouth-watering!
Our afternoon itinerary will vary depending on the day of your tour. If you do the activity on a Monday, Wednesday or Friday, we'll continue on our tour to Bat Trang, a small village famous for its handcrafted porcelain. Here you'll have time to visit the shops and buy a souvenir to remember your trip. If you do the activity on a Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday or Sunday, we'll visit the Hanoi Ethnological Museum.
Both itineraries will then bring you to the Ngoc Son Temple, the most important in Hanoi. This sanctuary can be found in the middle of the Hoan Kiem lake, and to get to it you'll have to cross the famous red Huc bridge: the perfect photo opportunity!
At around 4 pm we'll accompany you back to the hotel where we picked you up.
