Guided Tour of Hamburg
Tour Details
We'll meet at the designated time at the entrance to the HafenCity Universität metro station, close to Hamburg's port, in the vibrant Hafencity quarter.
To begin with, we'll walk towards Ericusbrücke Bridge, from where we'll have views of the most important port in the country, over 800 years old. This spot, known as the gateway to the world of Germany, symbolises the prosperity and economic growth that the city experienced in the 18th century.
From here, we'll stroll to the Church of St Peter, one of the oldest in the city. You'll be blown away by its 132-metre (433-foot) tower! Our next stop will be the Dom Square, a prominent spot where various public events are held.
Close by, we'll find the Hamburg City Hall, where we'll reveal all the details behind its unique architecture. Additionally, we'll visit the St Nikolai Memorial, a monument about the bombings that took place during World War II.
Lastly, we'll stop in front of St Michael's Church, famous for its beautiful tower. What a great note to end the tour on!
2 hours later, we'll say our goodbyes as this tour comes to an end.
