Having picked you up from your hotel in Guilin, we'll begin our sightseeing tour of the city on board an air-conditioned vehicle. Our first stop will be the Reed Flute Cave, a spectacular natural rock formation that has been attracting visitors since the Tang Dynasty over 1,200 years ago! As we enter this rocky labyrinth and marvel at its colorful illuminations, the guide will reveal how the cave got its name...
We'll then continue our tour of Guilin along the banks of the Li River, home to the famous Elephant Trunk Hill. Strolling through the park around this intriguing rock formation, we'll see the historic Puxian Pagoda and admire panoramic views of Guilin.
Our next stop will be Xiaoyao Tower, from where you can enjoy beautiful views of the Li River and the center of Guilin. Then we'll go to one of Guilin's most important places of interest: the Sun and Moon Pagodas located in Shan Lake. These elegant twin temples are one of the city's most iconic sights, especially at night, when they're beautifully illuminated.
You'll then have free time in Guilin's main restaurant district to renew your energy with a delicious meal of local delicacies (not included). After eating, we'll head to the west of the city, where we'll discover the traditions, culture, and street fashion of Guilin.
For the finishing touch on a comprehensive sightseeing tour, we'll visit Fubo Hill Park, also known as Wave-Subduing Hill, a large rock that towers dramatically above the Lijiang River. The park is home to a temple and a cave decorated with carved stone Buddha sculptures - a fascinating visit!
