Stargazing Cruise
At 9 pm, we'll meet at the Centro Internacional de Innovación Deportiva-El Anillo, located just 8 kilometers from the center of Guijo de Granadilla. Approaching the banks of the Gabriel y Galán Reservoir, formed by the damming of the Alagón River, we'll get on a boat for a pleasant evening cruise.
We'll begin our cruise by watching the sun duck down below the horizon. While we enjoy one of the most beautiful sunsets in Extremadura, we'll observe how the animals in the area take this opportunity to come to cool off in the water. With a little luck... we may even see deer!
As night falls, the stars will begin to take center stage in the sky. The guide will help us to identify the position of the main constellations and discover the location of other celestial bodies. Far from any towns, the skies of this location are ideal for stargazing - so much so that we'll be able to see the stars without the need for any technical equipment!
We'll continue sailing and stargazing until we conclude the activity at 12:30 am at the starting point.
