Pacaya Volcano Tour
Pacaya Volcano Tour
At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up at the meeting point in Guatemala City and head towards Pacaya National Park, located about an hour and a half away.
Once we arrive at the trailhead in San Vicente de Pacaya, we'll set off on our hike up the Pacaya Volcano. During the hike, we'll traverse beautiful pine forests and get great views of the volcano's smoking sulfuric cone, we may even see some small eruptions of lava!
From the mountainside, we'll also enjoy excellent views of the Agua, Fuego, and Acatenango volcanoes. We'll even be able to see the Pacific lowlands and the entire horizon as far as El Salvador, and get beautiful panoramic views of Guatemala City and Lake Amatitlan.
While marveling at the landscapes, we'll stop to eat the lunch each of us brought with us, don't forget your picnic! Afterwards, we'll start our descent to the base of the volcano. Finally, we'll return to the meeting points in Guatemala City where we'll arrive around 8 hours after pickup.
