Sheep Farm Tour Guarda
Description
At the scheduled time, we'll meet in Praça Luís de Camões Square Square to be taken to the sheep farm, where we'll have a very memorable time. Ready?
Once there, we'll meet with a shepherd who'll take charge of showing us how he goes about his day caring for these animals, and if you'd like, you can even try herding them. It'll be great!
As we walk the Covão de Santa Maria route, we'll enjoy some of the most impressive views of the Serra da Estrela Mountains. Afterwards, we'll take a short break to try some delicious local aperitives.
Did you know that this region of Guarda is known for the quality of the cheeses it produces? We'll also see the grazing fields where the sheep produce the spectacular-tasting Serra da Estrela cheese.
Finally, we'll say our goodbyes back at the meeting point between 3 and 4 hours after we started.
