Salto de Versalles Waterfall + Capira Stone Hiking Tour
At the time of your choice we'll meet at Calle 4 in Guaduas to start a hiking route through the nature of this Colombian Heritage Village.
We'll start the route crossing the town of Guaduas heading north, walking along paths full of vegetation until we reach the Salto de Versalles waterfall, a natural spot that will leave you speechless.
The Salto de Versalles stands out in the middle of the forest, and is 42 metres high (137 feet). Here we'll leave you some time to rest and recover your strength while we tell you all about this stunning place. We'll even hear a story about a forbidden love between two members of the Panche tribe...
Afterwards, we'll continue our hike to the Capira Stone viewpoint. From here we'll see the valley of the Magdalena River and the mountains of Tolima, Ruiz and Santa Isabel. Also, if the day is clear, we'll see the town of Honda, which is closely linked to the history and progress of Guaduas.
Gradually we'll start our way back. After three hours of walking, we'll finish the tour arriving at the starting point.
