At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel to start this tour of the mysteries and legends of Guadalajara. Are you ready to discover the stories that the Perla Tapatía hides?
We'll get into the vehicle and drive to the first of the Guadalajara neighborhoods we'll visit, it'll be like traveling back in time! Upon arrival, we'll tell you when and how the capital of Jalisco was founded, as well as many legends and traditions that date back to its indigenous past.
First, we'll see the exteriors of the Temple of Santa Monica and the Temple of San Felipe Neri, both located in the heart of Guadalajara. We'll admire their architectural details while we learn about their histories.
Then, we'll visit the City Museum, did you know that this place used to be the orchard of the Capuchinas convent? Then, we'll head to the Sanctuary of Guadalupe, which hides within its walls some beautiful paintings and the image of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
The next stop will take place in the 250-year-old Pantheon of Bethlehem, the cemetery of Guadalajara. What mysteries and legends are housed in its tombs and niches?
Lastly, we'll see the recently unearthed bridge of Guadalajara, related to one of the oldest legends of the city, located in one of the founding neighborhoods of the city!
Finally, after 4 hours of learning about the mysteries and legends of Guadalajara, we'll drop you back off at your hotel.
