Guadalajara Murals Tour
Guadalajara Murals Tour
Welcome art lovers! At the appointed time, we'll meet at Avenida Chapultepec and begin to explore the streets of the city in search of the famous murals of Guadalajara, a different way to delve into the history of the capital of Jalisco!
First, we'll explore the trendy hipster area of Guadalajara. There, we'll approach the Templo Expiatorio del Santísimo Sacramento, one of the most beautiful buildings in Guadalajara.
Does the name José Clemente Orozco ring a bell? After this tour, you'll know all about him! The murals of this painter are one of the great treasures of Guadalajara, a type of art that narrates the history of the city. To get to know them in more detail, we'll visit the Cruz de Plazas, the Cathedral, and Teatro Degollado.
Finally, we'll enter Museo Cabañas, a museum that displays one of the most popular and important works of the entire state of Jalisco, Hombre de Fuego (Man of Fire). You'll be left speechless!
After three to four hours of walking through the streets of the city, we'll end our tour of the murals of Guadalajara back at the starting point.
