At the designated time, we'll meet in front of the MUSA (Museum of the Arts of the University of Guadalajara), to begin our free tour of the Colonia Americana neighbourhood. At this spot, we'll admire the famous muralist José Clemente Orozco's first work in the city.
Next, we'll head over to the majestic Templo Expiatorio del Santísimo Sacramento, an impressive Neo-Gothic church that will leave you speechless. Afterwards, we'll stroll through Colonia Americana, admiring the early 20th-century houses and pointing out some designs by the renowned architect Luis Barragán. You'll love getting to know the history behind these buildings!
We'll also explore the lively Chapultepec Avenue, known for its vibrant nightlife and culture. This is, without a doubt, the entertainment centre of Guadalajara, with numerous bars, restaurants, and art galleries. Did you know why it's so popular amongst locals and tourists?
