After picking you up at your hotel at the appointed time, we'll start our football tour of Guadalajara. Are you ready to explore and find out all about the most famous stadiums and teams of the capital of Jalisco? We'll see just how important this popular sport is for the culture of Guadalajara!
After the introductions, we'll get into a vehicle to start a short panoramic tour of Guadalajara. As we explore its streets, we'll tell you about the most important history and traditions of what is known as the 'Pearl of the West'.
Afterwards, we'll arrive at the first stadium we'll visit, the Akron, also called Chivas Stadium. There we'll enter the museum of Club Deportivo Guadalajara, the most popular team in the city, which has more than 100 years of history. Do you know what other names this team is known by? Do the names Chivas, Chivas Rayadas, Rebaño Sagrado or Rojiblanco ring any bells..?
Afterwards, we'll take a panoramic tour of the Jalisco stadium, the scene of epic matches in Guadalajara. Before ending the football tour, we'll take a break in the traditional neighbourhood of Tlaquepaque. In one of the local restaurants, we'll get to taste the most typical dishes of Guadalajara, such as tortas ahogadas or birria, all accompanied by a good tequila and Mariachi music! What more could you ask for?
