Guadalajara Bike Tour
Guadalajara Bike Tour
We'll meet at 719 Lorenzana Street, near the Glorieta de la Estampida, at the scheduled time. We'll have the bikes ready for you to begin our tour around Guadalajara. Ready to explore the capital of Jalisco on two wheels?
Let's kick off the tour by visiting the Arcos de Vallarta, then we'll head to the impressive Glorieta La Minerva. Here, we'll admire the majestic sculpture of the Roman goddess after whom this place is named. Curious about why it's one of Guadalajara's symbols? We'll find out during the tour!
Next, we'll head to the historic downtown, where we'll explore the city's most significant religious buildings. You'll have the opportunity to admire the Expiatory Temple of the Blessed Sacrament and the Metropolitan Cathedral.
During the tour, we'll also pass by notable government buildings, including the Telefonos de Mexico Building, the Municipal Palace of Guadalajara, and the Government Palace of the State of Jalisco.
The route will also take us to stops in front of MUSA (Museo de las Artes de la Universidad de Guadalajara), the Biblioteca Iberoamericana Octavio Paz, and the Ex Convento del Carmen—a 17th-century building turned cultural center with exhibitions and events. We'll also pedal past the Teatro Degollado, renowned for its exceptional acoustics and neoclassical architecture, and the Instituto Cultural Cabañas, home to murals by the celebrated muralist José Clemente Orozco.
Before finishing our bike tour of Guadalajara, we'll visit the Plaza de Armas and the Rotonda de los Jaliscienses Ilustres, a tribute to the most important figures of Jalisco.
After 4 hours of cycling, we'll return to the starting point to bring the tour to an end.
