Sierra de Grazalema Stargazing Experience
At the appointed time we'll meet at Tambor del Llano, in the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park. This natural corner of Cadiz is the perfect location for stargazing due to its lack of light pollution. Let's get started!
Once we're all together, we'll walk to the Estelario, a conditioned space located in the highest part of the farm. There we'll start the stargazing session in Grazalema following the explanations of the guide. First we'll observe the night sky with a naked eye. Then we'll learn how to use a telescope for a more in-depth study of the stars.
We'll observe how the celestial sphere moves, although what really moves is the Earth, which rotates from west to east. For two hours we'll navigate our way through a sea of stars. We'll also explore and tell you how to spot the most famous constellations such as the Milky Way.
Before ending the stargazing in the Sierra de Grazalema, we'll warm ourselves up with a cup of hot chocolate. By the end of the activity, you'll be an expert astronomer thanks to the expert knowledge of the guide.
