At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Grand Canyon West Airport to begin a 5-7 minute helicopter ride over the West Rim. Ready for an unforgettable view?
We'll slowly descend to the base of the Grand Canyon, and once we land, we'll take a short walk down to the river. There, we'll board the boat and begin a trip down the Colorado River. We'll admire the sandstone walls from a different perspective!
After the 15-20 minute boat ride, we'll return to the helicopter to ascend to the top of the canyon. We'll return to the West Rim entrance, where you'll have the option to complete the activity by adding the following experiences:
- Grand Canyon West Ticket: this ticket includes access to Eagle Point and Guano Point overlooks and the shuttle bus to these sites. At the Grand Canyon West Visitor Centre you can take this shuttle, included in your ticket, which will take you directly to Eagle Point, Guano Point and the take-off point of the helicopter ride.
- Skywalk: located at Eagle Point, this viewpoint is an excellent vantage point to see the Grand Canyon's barren landscapes.
- Lunch at a Grand Canyon West restaurant: includes a meat or chicken dish, corn on the cob, bread and a beverage.
Also, as a bonus, Grand Canyon West is located a mere 124 miles (200 km) from downtown Las Vegas, unlike Grand Canyon South, which is more than a 4-hour drive from Sin City.
