Description
When making a reservation, you can choose the helicopter route of the Grand Canyon that you prefer. Here are the two options:
25-minute tour
We'll start the tour flying over the Kaibab National Forest, before entering the Grand Canyon and Dragon Corridor.
We'll fly over the Colorado River towards the northern border of the Grand Canyon, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. From the helicopter, you'll be able to admire the panoramic views of the Tower of Ra and Vishnu Schist. As we fly over the widest and deepest areas of the canyon, we'll be able to observe some of the oldest rock faces in the world.
Please be aware that this option only takes place at the following times:
- May 1 to September 30, 2024: at 10:30 am
- October 1, 2024 to March 8, 2025: at 11:15 am
45-minute tour
First, we'll pass alongside the Kaibab National Forest, an area packed with bull pines and American pines, before heading to the Grand Canyon, following the course of the Colorado River, enjoying the views all the way. Here you'll have an incredible view of the Painted Desert and the Desert View Watchtower.
Then we'll head to the confluence of the Colorado and Little Colorado rivers, where the stunning turquoise blues of the water contrast with the surrounding orange tones. Then finally we'll fly over the Dragon Corridor, the widest and deepest part of the Grand Canyon.
We'll cross the River Colorado at its fastest flowing point and, finally, return to the departure point, after a 45-minute flight.
Helicopters
All tours take place in ECO-Star helicopters, designed exclusively for tourism. With incomparable comfort and visibility, they're known as 'the limousines of the sky.'
