Day Trip Details

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at the agreed meeting point to begin our day trip to the Alpujarra Granadina, a land of contrasts where Berber architecture merges with the intense green of the valleys in the southern foothills of the Sierra Nevada.

The first stop will be at the Tablate Bridge, a historic construction that marks the entrance to this fascinating region. Crossing this bridge is like opening a door to the past... A real journey back in time!

We'll remember the times of the Reconquista as we approach Lanjarón, a village famous for its miraculous waters. We'll pass through this village before entering the heart of the Alpujarra and reaching the spectacular Poqueira Ravine, where three jewels of the Alpujarra await us: Pampaneira, Bubión and Capileira.

Arriving in Pampaneira, we'll visit a traditional chocolate factory, discover the secrets of a handmade loom and stroll through its picturesque cobbled streets. You'll also have free time to explore the village at your own pace, browse the local shops and admire the stunning views of the ravine. The 16th century parish church of Santa Cruz, the old washing places or the Federico García Lorca promenade are some of the places not to be missed.

We'll continue to Pórtugos, where we'll stop at the Fuente Agria and the Fuente del Chorreón fountains, famous for their ferruginous waters of intense reddish tones, a natural spectacle that will amaze you!

Our next stop will be Trevélez, the highest village in the Alpujarra. Here, you'll have the opportunity to taste some of the most iconic products of the area, a delight for the palate!

Lastly, we'll arrive at Capileira, one of the most charming villages in the region. Here, you'll have enough time to stroll around, enjoy its traditional architecture, admire the spectacular views of the Sierra Nevada and get yourself some lunch.

Finally, we'll return to Granada and say goodbye at the same meeting point after about 10 hours in total.
