Granada Walking Tour
Granada Walking Tour
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Granada to set off on a thrilling walking tour of Granada that's sure to captivate you!
Boarding our transport vehicle, we'll venture into the heart of the town, where we'll leisurely stroll through the streets along the shores of Nicaragua Lake. Walking along the streets, you'll notice the delicious smell of all the street carts full of good local food. From here, we'll also admire the Town Cemetary, one of the country's most valuable treasures.
From here, we'll explore the Polvora Fort and travel back to a chapter of Nicaraguan history marked by great battles and feats. We can even touch the rocks that make up the walls constructed in 1748. Did you know this fort used to house former military troops and prisoners?
Next up, we'll check out the Maria Auxiliadora Church with its ornate details and intricate decor of colorful stained glass windows. Then, we'll climb up to the Tower of Mercy for some breathtaking views of the city and surrounding area. Keep your eyes peeled for a peak of the Mombacho Volcano and the Great Lake of Nicaragua from this privileged viewpoint too!
After 3 hours of enjoying Granada on an informative guided tour, we'll bring you back to your hotel to finish the day.
