Taste the best German cuisine on offer and immerse yourself in Nova Petrópolis customs by enjoying this dinner and traditional folk performance at the restaurant Torquês.
Dinner & Show Details
At the designated time we'll pick you up from the designated meeting point that you select and we'll take you to the restaurant Torquês in Nova Petrópolis, where you'll get to know the local flavours of this southern region in Brazil, strongly influenced by German settlers.
After a 1-hour journey, we'll be met by an extensive buffet full of exquisite German delicacies. Dishes include eisbein (pork knuckle), kassler (cooked smoked loin), bockwurst (bock sausage), and traditional sauerkraut. Each dish is prepared using traditional recipes, showcasing the unique flavours of German cuisine. You'll love it!
As well as this, the dinner will include a colonial-style coffee with a variety of sweet treats. Amongst these will be the famous German cake and apfelstrudel (apple tart), authentic dishes brought over by migrants that now form part of the local culture.
To make the evening even more special, the dinner will be accompanied by a live show featuring a traditional German band and a stage with regional folk dancing.
After 2 hours of fun, and with our bellies full, this activity will come to an end back in Gramado or Canela, where we'll say our goodbyes after a total of 4 hours.
