We'll meet at the time of your choice at the main entrance of the Gordonzello winery. This wine tourism centre, located in the municipality of Gordoncillo, is one of the most outstanding in the southeast of the province of León.
The tour will start by getting to know the areas where the wines are made and aged. As we'll see, it's a very laborious process that has several very structured phases in the production process. Then we'll also visit the room where the barrels are stored.
We'll continue the tour by observing the bottling and labelling line, the last stages of the production chain before the boxes of wine are distributed to the end consumer. Both individuals and restaurants appreciate their excellent quality. In fact, we'll explain what awards the Gordonzello winery has received. Among them are the Gilbert & Gaillard gold medals and the International Wine and Spirits Competition.
During the visit, we'll also talk to you about the main products made in the winery, such as the Peregrino Blanco, the Antojo Rosado Dulce, the Peregrino Tinto Roble and the Sangria Gordonzello, among a wide variety. We'll sample the most outstanding ones with a tasting of 3 wines, which we'll pair with a selection of Leon cured meats. In addition, if you're visiting during the grape harvest period, we'll also have a grape juice tasting.
