Goiânia + Trindade Tour
Description
At the scheduled time we'll pick you up from your hotel in Goiânia to visit the main tourist and historical attractions in the city. Our starting point will be at Praça Cívica, considered a milestone during the initial founding of Goiânia.
During the first part of the tour, we'll visit the central area of Goiânia that tells the story of this city. We'll also see important monuments such as the Palácio das Esmeraldas Palace and As Três Raças monument, as well as visit different green spaces such as Bosque dos Buritis.
Next, we'll walk to one of the most modern parts of Goiânia, where we'll learn about the development and evolution of the quality of life of its residents throughout time. During the tour, we'll also make stops to take photos at the Nossa Senhora de Fátima Church.
In the afternoon we'll travel around 25 kilometres (15.5 miles) on the motorway towards Trindade, where we'll visit its main tourist spots and social works of the Congregation of the Holy Redeemer. During this past tour, we'll make 2 stops to discover the work carried out by the congregation and the history of the Divine Holy Father.
First, we'll make our way towards the Madre de Divino Pai Etenro Parish Church, the first church in the city, opened in 1912. The second stop will be at the Santuario do Divino Pai Eterno Basilica. In addition, if the tour is on a Saturday or Sunday, we'll also be able to attend mass.
Finally, the tour will come to an end in the religious side of Trindade and from there, we'll begin our journey back to the hotels in Goiânia. We'll arrive back after around 10 hours.
