Our first stop will be a canal to gather the unique plates for our dish. Did you know that traditionally, this meal is served on lotus leaves? You'll discover the fascinating properties of these plants and collect the necessary leaves to use in our cooking class.
Next, we'll make our way to the Merriman Mall market, where we'll procure all the essential ingredients for preparing the Seven Curry. We'll provide guidance on the necessary vegetables and spices to purchase. Additionally, we'll sip on some refreshing coconut water and discover how to craft puri balls, which will be an integral part of the final dish.
Then, we'll proceed to the restaurant, where we'll receive hands-on instruction on preparing the traditional 7 Curry, a time-honored vegetarian dish that has graced Guyanese kitchens for centuries. Once we've prepared it, we'll gather around the table to savor our hard work while immersing ourselves in the sounds of Guyanese music, providing the perfect conclusion to our tour!
Finally, after 5 hours of culinary immersion, we'll bring you back to your hotel.
