The Genoa sightseeing bus takes you to stops at the main attractions around the famous birthplace of Christopher Columbus. Throughout the journey, you will enjoy English language audio commentary about the locations you can see from the bus.
Some of the most popular landmarks included on the itinerary are Piazza Caricamento square, Piazza De Ferrari fountain and Vitoria Square.

Genoa Sightseeing Bus Schedule
- Red line: from 10:15 am to 4:15 pm, every 20 or 30 minutes.
- Blue line: from 10 am to 5:15 pm, every 20 or 30 minutes.
These timetables are valid from April 1, 2024. However, these times are flexible and subject to change.
How it Works
The ticket is valid for 24 or 48 hours. For example, if the 48-hour ticket is used for the first time on Monday at 3 pm, it'll be valid until Wednesday at 3 pm.
During this time, you can hop on and off the buses as many times as you want on either of the two lines. This means you can explore the city's top attractions at your own pace. You can discover beautiful buildings such as the Church of Santo Stefano, the Doge's Palace, the Teatro Carlo Felice opera house, and the Cathedral of Saint Lawrence, and also visit one of Europe's busiest ports.
Children Under 4
Children under 4 ride for free! They won't need a ticket or a reservation to get on the bus.
Partial Closures
Due to roadworks from September 9 to October 6, 2024, the routes will experience modifications on weekdays only. During this period, the Blue Line stops for routes 9 (Portello) and 10 (Spianata Castelletto and Principe) will be canceled and serviced exclusively by the Historic Route (Red Line).
