The Genoa Aquarium is one of the largest marine parks in Europe, and in its large spaces you'll find a many aquatic species such as sharks, jellyfish, seals, tropical fish and seahorses. Ideal for a family day out!
The Galata Museo del Mare is one of the largest maritime museums in the Mediterranean, as well as one of the most modern in Italy. Its highlight is undoubtedly the Nazario Sauro submarine, a historic submersible of the Italian Navy.

Genoa Aquarium
- September: Every day from 9 am to 8 pm.
- From October to February: Monday to Friday, from 10 am to 8 pm. Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, from 9 am to 8 pm.
- On 31st December the opening hours are from 9 am to 4 pm.
Please note that the last access is two hours before closing time.
Galata Sea Museum
- Monday to Sunday, 10 am to 7 pm (last admission at 6 pm)
Boat trip
The Genoa boat tour departs from the Porto Antico, in front of the Genoa Aquarium, at the following times:
- Monday to Friday: at 2.15 pm, 5.20 pm and 6.40 pm.
- Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays: at 2 pm, 3:30 pm and 5 pm.
