Panoramic Tour of Geneva
Panoramic Tour of Geneva
We will meet up at the bus station in Geneva before starting our panoramic bus route through the streets of Geneva.
Due to its history as a neutral country, Swiss houses the offices of numerous international organizations. On this trip, you will encounter the headquarters of the United Nations, the Red Cross, and UNICEF among others.
Later, the bus tour will bring us to the banks of Lake Geneva. Here we will see the Jet d’Eau water fountain, the most famous attraction in the city, which reaches more than 450 feet high. Close by, you will also encounter the celebrated flower clock which has a diameter of more than 15 feet and is made up of more than 5000 flowers.
Then we get off the bus and onto the mini tourist train which will take you around the historic quarter of Geneva. We ride through the small medieval streets until arriving in front of the magnificent St. Pierre Cathedral, where John Calvin recited his sermons in the 16th century.
This trip will take you back in time to the old Geneva. You will see the places which have been witness to the city’s long, fascinating history, such as Bourg-de-Four Square, the Roman marketplace, and the old military arsenal.
The visit finishes in the center of Geneva.
