Jungfrau Day Trip
After meeting up in Geneva at the scheduled time, you'll set off through the magnificent Swiss countryside towards Interlaken, the tourism capital of the Bernese Oberland. You'll make a stop in the picturesque mountain town to admire the views that it offers over the surrounding Alps and the Thun and Brienz Lakes.
Continue onwards to Lauterbrunnen, a village nestled in a beautiful Alpine valley, where you'll climb aboard the rack railway that ascends a mountain up to the highest train station in Europe: located at over 11,600 feet (more than 3,500 metres) above sea level.
At the top of Jungfrau, you'll have access to the Sphinx Observatory, where you'll be met with breathtaking panoramic views over the two of the Swiss Alps' famous peaks: Eiger and Mönch.
You'll also have the opportunity to explore the ice tunnel carved out of a glacier and discover the history of the peak, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A true Alpine adventure!
Having made the most of your time at the Top of Europe, you'll descend back to Interlaken, where you'll have free time to explore the pretty town and make the most of its traditional shops.
At the end of the day, you'll make the return journey to Geneva, arriving back around 9 pm.
