Interlaken & Schilthorn Day Trip
After meeting in Geneva at the scheduled time, you'll set off in the direction of Schilthorn, a mountain in the Bernese Alps that towers 9,744 feet (2,970 metres) above sea level. Head up to its peak to relax while admiring the spectacular panoramic views of Jungfrau, Mönch and Eiger, three summits declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
Recognise your surroundings? The stunning landscapes of Schilthorn and its famous revolving restaurant, the Piz Gloria, were used as a filming location for the James Bond movie "On Her Majesty's Secret Service.
As well as marvelling at the breathtaking beauty of the Alps, you'll have the adrenaline-inducing opportunity to cross a thrilling bridge over dizzying cliffs and peaks. A truly unique experience in magnificent settings!
You'll then head onwards to Interlaken, so named for its location between the two lakes of Thun and Brienz. The tourism centre of the Bernese Alps will welcome you in, and you'll have free time to explore its picturesque streets, snap photos of the beautiful scenery and indulge in the local cuisine (not included). If you like cheese, don't miss trying traditional Swiss fondue!
Having made the most of your time in Interlaken, you'll return to Geneva by bus, arriving back at around 9 pm.
