Aran Islands & Connemara Tour
Aran Islands and Connemara Tour
At the indicated time, we'll meet at Galway Cathedral to kick off this thrilling tour along the West of Ireland.
Our first stop will be the Quiet Man Bridge. Step into the scene of the classic 1952 film "The Quiet Man" at this picturesque bridge, surrounded by Connemara’s lush greenery—you'll love it!
Next, we'll admire Connemara's rugged beauty, dotted with ancient sites and charming villages, before stopping at Rossaveel. This charming harbour town offers a true glimpse of rural Ireland.
Then, we'll set sail for the stunning Aran Islands, where time seems to slow down. Upon arrival at Inis Mór, the largest of the Aran Islands, we'll explore ancient ruins, witness breathtaking cliffside scenery, and experience the unique Irish culture up close. Our guide will reveal hidden gems and local secrets, making this a truly unforgettable adventure.
Afterwards, we'll marvel at the prehistoric fort of Dún Aonghasa, perched on the edge of a dramatic 100-metre (328-foot) cliff. The views over the Atlantic Ocean are simply breathtaking. Don't forget to take out your camera!
We'll then continue our adventure by exploring more of the Aran Islands' unique landscape and culture. We'll take our time to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and perhaps even chat with some friendly locals. Back in Galway, you'll have some free time to stroll around and grab a bite to eat if you wish.
Finally, after a total of 8 hours, we'll make our way back to the starting point and bring our adventure to a close. Slán!
