Gallipoli Private Tour

At the time you select, we will meet up next to the iconic fountain in Piazza Moro Aldo. After admiring this Greek-inspired Renaissance monument, we will begin our fantastic private tour of Gallipoli's historic center.

We cross the elegant Ponte Seicentesco bridge and reach the old town, protected by an impressive 13th-century castle that was once under the rule of the Crown of Aragon. You will admire its wonderful architecture and hear all about its fascinating history to you!

The narrow streets of Gallipoli lead us to the baroque cathedral of St. Agatha, the main temple in the city and home to the relics of this virgin of the Catholic Church who was martyred in Catania.

We will continue walking through this beautiful town in Puglia, stopping at magnificent 16th and 17th-century palaces and churches, such as St. Francis of Assisi, St. Mary of Purity, and St. Dominic of the Rosary. Remember to bring your camera!

We will also spend time strolling along the seafront promenades of the city, the views of the beautiful beaches of Gallipoli will astound you! Gentle sea breezes, golden sands, and crystal clear waters are the stars of this part of the visit.

After a fantastic two-hour tour, we will end by returning to the original starting point or any other central area that you prefer.
