Futaleufú River Rafting

When you make your reservation, you can choose one of the following rafting routes on the Futaleufú River. All of them include pickup at your hotel and return transfer, an English-speaking instructor, the technical equipment necessary for the activity, and a snack of local products at the end of the experience:

Intermediate Level

We'll embark on a 2-hour and 7.5-mile (12-km) route at the foot of the Andes, between the sectors of Chiquito and Puente Julepe. Along the Futaleufú River, we'll cross three class IV rapids: the Toro, Mundaca, and Puma. We'll also face the big swell of the Más o Menos, a class V rapids.

While paddling, we'll also enjoy the spectacular natural scenery of the Lake District, in the heart of Chilean Patagonia.

Schedule: We'll pick you up at 2 pm and return to Futaleufú at 7 pm.

Intermediate - Advanced Level

If you book this option, which involves a route of 2.5 hours and 9 miles (15 km) between the Chiquito and Macal sections, we'll follow the same itinerary as the previous option. Then, after facing the fury of the Más o Menos, we'll face another great obstacle of the Futaleufú River: a class V rapid called Casa de Piedra.

This itinerary, halfway between the easiest and the most difficult route, is a challenge for all adrenaline junkies!

Schedule: We'll pick you up at 2 pm and return to Futaleufú at 7:30 pm.

Advanced Level

This route of 5 hours and 13.5 miles (22 km) is the most complex challenge of the Futaleufú River, but also one of the most exciting! It's a very complete route between the sectors of El Azul and Puerto Ramírez. In this section, we'll face two class IV rapids: the Himalaya and the Mundaca. We'll also trudge through the Casa de Piedra and the Terminator, class V rapids.

On this route, we'll also see different autochthonous birds. Among its main species are the Andean condors, the caiquenes, and the kingfishers.

Schedule: We'll leave Futaleufú at 10 am and return at 6 pm.

Pickup

The 3 options above include pickup from hotels located in the urban area of Futaleufú. If you're staying in other places, we'll pick you up at 348 Sargento Aldea Street.
