Espolón River Bugging
Espolón River Bugging
At 10 am, we'll depart from Futaleufú to the banks of the Espolón River, one of the main riverbeds in this area of Chilean Patagonia.
Once we reach the shore, you'll receive a short safety briefing. We'll then put on our helmets, vests, and other equipment, and then you'll be ready to go!
River bugging is a fun watersport that, like rafting, consists of going through the rapids of a river. In this case, you'll navigate the rapids in an individual inflatable boat and you won't need paddles, but instead, you'll wear fin-shaped gloves to help propel yourself!
The activity will take place in different sections of the Espolón River of class II and III rapids, which are of intermediate difficulty. During the 1.5-hour route, we'll enjoy the beautiful landscapes of the Patagonian province of Palena in the Chilean region of Los Lagos.
At the end of the experience, we'll replenish our strength with a snack of local products and then we'll set out on our way back, arriving in Futaleufú at 1 pm.
