At the indicated time we'll meet at Avenida Dr. César Oliveira, in Fuzeta, where a boat will be waiting for us to enter one of the most protected wetlands in all of Portugal, the Ria Formosa Natural Park.
Once the tide is low, we'll cruise through this natural reserve in search of the different species of birds that live there, both native and migratory.
This area regularly has more than 20,000 water birds, especially during the winter. In just two hours we'll see more than 200 different species, from just a few metres away! During the trip we'll listen to explanations from a marine biologist expert in the area who will help us identify the birds in the Ria Formosa.
This adventure through the natural park will even take us to admire rare species that can only be seen in this part of Portugal, such as the Purple Swamp-hen and the Little Bittern.
The activity will end arriving at the starting point 2 hours later.
