On this tour through the farms of Funchal, we'll experience the spectacular landscapes and ways of life in rural Madeira. We'll also see how the famous Requeijão cheese is made.
Madeira Farm Tour

At the established time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Madeira and drive towards the interior of the island where the more rural areas are located.

First, we'll visit a banana farm where we'll see the plantations of this tropical fruit and learn how it's planted, cultivated, and harvested. Then, we'll head over to a factory where banana products are made.

The next stop will be at a winery where we'll enjoy a wine tasting. After this tasting, we'll visit a cattle farm where we'll see how the famous Requeijão da Madeira cheese is made.

We'll continue our tour of rural Madeira visiting another winery and a sugar cane farm. By now you'll have worked up an appetite, so we'll head to a restaurant where you'll enjoy a traditional Madeiran lunch made from local products.

After lunch, we'll return back to your hotel in Madeira, where we'll arrive about seven hours after pickup.

Lovely activity if you are interested in plants agriculture and want to see proper farms. Nice wine testing and a very traditional big lunch . The guid was very informative polite and flexible person . It was not many people , so I feel like tour for one. We have been able to taste different kind of tropical fruit from the tree at a farm Would recommend this tour
