East Madeira Tour
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel and start our tour of eastern Madeira.
Our first stop will be the Terreiro da Luta viewpoint, where we'll enjoy a beautiful view of the emblematic bay of Funchal, with the ocean as a backdrop.
Afterwards, we'll move on to the village of Faial, where we'll see the rock of the eagles, and continue to Santana. There, we'll admire its famous triangular thatched houses, one of Madeira's most famous images.
Next, we'll stop at one of the restaurants in the area so you can get yourself something to refuel and perhaps taste some of the local cuisine. After, we'll go up to the Guindaste viewpoint.
We'll continue the tour to Machico. During the journey, we'll admire the large sugar cane terraces that populate this side of the island. Once in Machico, the first capital of Madeira, we'll have a closer look at its historical heritage and culture.
After this historical stop, we'll head to Ponta de São Lourenço, one of the most pronounced geographical features of the island that offers a unique and impressive landscape with panoramic views over the north and south sides.
