Amazing, Luis and Carlos were super nice and very attentive to us all the time, the diving was spectacular, lots of different fish and we were able to see 3 huge and very beautiful groupers, it was a pleasure to dive with them and some great photos too, totally recommended if you travel to Madeira

Beginners Scuba Diving in Garajau

After meeting you at the indicated point we'll take the cable car that will take us to Garajau Bay. As we descend 200 metres you'll have bird's eye view of the magnificent crystalline waters of this natural reserve.

On the beach, the instructor will give a brief introduction to the diving techniques and equipment. When the safety lesson is over, it'll be time to dive in!

In this area of the island, the water temperature ranges from 17 to 26 degrees, which favours the unique marine biodiversity in Funchal. Under the water you'll meet colourful fish, rays, incredible marine plants and much more!

Fue una experiencia magnífica. Era nuestra primera vez buceando y nos sentimos muy tranquilos y acompañados. Experiencia 100% recomendable. El único pero sería que debido a tareas de mantenimiento el teleférico estaba cerrado y no pudimos usarlo para acceder a la playa. Luis, uno de los instructores, fue muy amable y vino a buscarnos. It was a great experience. It was our first time diving and we felt very calm and accompanied. A 100% recommendable experience. The only downside would be that due to maintenance work the cable car was closed and we couldn't use it to access the beach. Luis, one of the instructors, was very kind and came to pick us up. La experiencia fue increíble y lo volvería a repetir por supuesto. Hacer mención al monitor que se llama Luis y que hizo que me sintiera fenomenal, asique un 10 para él también. Tengo que quejarme y mucho de civitatis, ya que tenía reservado para el lunes día 16 a las 9h (haciendo la reserva con 10 días de antelación), y el sábado por la noche, me dicen que tiene que ser a las 14h o se anula la cita. Tuve que suspender las actividades que tenía ya para ese día por la tarde y me trastocó todo Translate this opinion into English.

The experience was incredible and I would do it again of course. I would like to mention the instructor, Luis, who made me feel great, so a 10 for him too. I have to complain a lot about Civitatis, since I had a reservation for Monday the 16th at 9am (making the reservation 10 days in advance), and on Saturday night, they told me that it had to be at 2pm or the appointment would be cancelled. 10/10. La actividad genial, los monitores de 10, la explicación y seguridad que te dan también, el lugar fantástico. Repetiríamos. En la página de Civitatis el punto de encuentro es confuso, nosotros dejamos el coche en el parking del teleférico y preguntamos ahí, nos abrieron el teleférico para bajar a la playa (entra en el precio de la actividad), aunque el centro de buceo esta en la propia playa al fondo, se puede llegar andando por el camino, pero no en coche Translate this opinion into English.

10/10. The activity was great, the instructors were great, the explanation and safety they gave you were also fantastic, the place was fantastic. We would do it again. On the Civitatis website the meeting point is confusing, we left the car in the cable car parking lot and asked there, they opened the cable car for us to go down to the beach (included in the price of the activity), although the diving center is on the beach itself at the back, you can get there walking along the path, but not by car.
