Madeira 2 Day Tour
Description
Day 1: West of Madeira
We'll pick you up at your Funchal hotel to explore the west of Madeira in a comfy minibus. Our journey is dotted with stops in charming villages and natural wonders to discover!
Our first highlight is Cabo Girão, where a glass platform suspended over a cliff offers an enchanting view – a perfect photo op!
As we journey on, we'll cross Ribeira Brava, pause at the scenic Boca da Encumeada viewpoint, and reach the expansive Paul da Serra plateau.
Madalena do Mar will be our next stop, where we'll stroll through vibrant banana plantations. Fonte do Bispo and Porto Moniz follow, with a lunch break in between.
Post-lunch, we'll admire the natural pools of Seixal, proceeding to the picturesque village of São Vicente, graced with charming chapels and nestled in a serene valley.
The end of this jam-packed day brings us to Câmara de Lobos, a quaint fishing village famous for vibrant boats lining the pier. Did you know the finest Madeira wine comes from the vineyards here?
Homeward bound to Funchal around 5 pm, our day of adventure winds to a close.
Day 2: East of Madeira
Get ready for an exciting day! We'll fetch you from your hotel to kick off our second tour day with a visit to the iconic Christ the King statue in Garajau, a striking symbol on Madeira's eastern coast.
Our next destination: Machico, the island's second-largest city and its original capital. You'll uncover its historic landmarks before we venture to Ponta de São Lourenço, the farthest eastern tip of Madeira.
Our journey unfolds to Porto da Cruz and Santana, where you'll get a 1.5-hour lunch break. Energized, we proceed to Ribeiro Frio and Pico do Arieiro, the island's third-highest peak.
As the day winds down, we'll return you to Funchal, reaching your hotel by 5 pm.
