Frigiliana Guided Tour
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the patio of the Casa del Apero from where we'll set off on a guided tour of Frigiliana. Let's explore cobblestoned streets, white-washed houses, and building façades decorated with beautiful potted plants in the Malaga region!
First up, we'll walk over to the Palace of the Counts, also known as El Ingenio. We'll marvel at the 16th-century Renaissance building that's now home to a honey factory. Did you know this honey in particular is unique to Europe? It was even featured on the hit TV series Masterchef, where contestants created a menu centered around this cultivated ingredient!
Next, we'll stroll through the historic downtown area of Frigiliana as we pass by Real and Hernando el Darr streets. These avenues will take us to the main squares of the Arab Quarter, full of distinct architecture. Further along, we'll see the San Antonio Church, and the Town Hall, among other monuments.
To end the tour on a high note, we'll sit down for a wine tasting paired with snacks like olives, chips, cheese, chorizo, sausage, salami, and bread.
Then, after 2 hours immersed in the charm of this Malagan town, we'll bring the experience to an end at the El Lagar shop, at the top of Calle Real.
