Puerto Iguazú Trip
Puerto Iguazú Trip
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Foz do Iguaçu and set off for Puerto Iguazú. When we're at the halfway point in our journey, we'll make a short stop at the Three Borders Landmark. This is the geographical point where Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay meet. Here, we'll admire the views of the Iguazú and Paraná rivers from a magnificent viewpoint.
Afterwards, we'll venture into the La Aripuca environmental reserve. Its main attraction is the 56-foot (17-metre) high monument that resembles a trap of the Guarani people. We'll learn all about its construction and about this reserve in the Selva Misionera. Here, you'll have some free time to explore the numerous craft shops and typical gastronomy.
We'll then stop at the Feirinha Puerto Iguazú market, which is the perfect place to find out more about the local culture and way of life. You'll also have some free time here to refuel with some food at one of their traditional stalls selling empanadas, cheeses or barbecued meats.
Oce we've reconvened, we'll return to Foz do Iguaçu and drop you off back at your hotel 5 hours later.
