Foz de Iguacu Free Tour
Foz de Iguacu Free tour
At the time indicated, we'll meet at Rua Mal. Deodoro and start one of the best tours to visit Foz de Iguacu. Are you ready to learn about the history and charm of this city, famous for its waterfalls? Let's go!
We'll start the free tour of Foz de Iguacu by learning about some of the most iconic historical buildings in the city, as well as the history of colonisation. As we explore, we'll talk about the area's rich cultural heritage. Did you know that it's home to more than 80 ethnicities? Or that it's on a triple border with Brazil?
As we walk along the Avenida Jorge Schimmelpfeng, which pays homage to the first mayor of Foz, we'll also explore the Avenida Brasil, and the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe. In addition, we'll head to the Bratolomeu Mitre Square and see the school that shares the same name, two essential places to learn about the history of Argentina's military that participated in the War of the Triple Alliance.
The next stop will be the Senac Building, the first casino hotel in the city. We'll also visit Almirante Tamandaré Square, captain of the Brazilian navy and one of the most famous people from Foz.
However, a tour of Foz de Iguacu wouldn't be complete without talking about the Parana River, the natural border between Brazil and Paraguay. We'll walk along its shore and learn all about the second-longest river in Brazil. Finally, we'll stop at a viewpoint and see a magical sunset over the Parana. How beautiful!
Then, we'll head back to the starting point and end this tour after 2.5 hours.

We don't admit bookings for more than 6 people on free tours. If you're a large group, we recommend booking a private tour in Foz de Iguacu.
